SHEA is pleased to announce the creation of the SHEA Education & Research Foundation, which is dedicated to advancing the field of healthcare epidemiology, infection prevention and antimicrobial stewardship through education and research. The Foundation has three areas of focus:

Education and recognition of leaders in the field
Promotion of an international exchange of ideas
Fostering a strategic scientific research agenda
