New York Times reporter, Anahad O’Connor recently wrote a blog post on a study from the December issue of Infection Control and Hospital Epidemiology. The study looked at hand hygiene behaviors of healthcare workers, with a closer look at those using gloves during patient care and found that while hand hygiene was low overall, it was even lower for healthcare workers using gloves.
