Gary Kravitz, MD, FACP, FIDSA, FSHEA

Dr. Gary Kravitz is Hospital Epidemiologist at United Hospital, St. Paul, MN. He is the founding partner of St. Paul Infectious Disease Associates (1982).

He was one of the first people to successfully initiate an antibiotic stewardship program at a private hospital (2002) and at a long-term acute care hospital (2008) Educational background: BS from Michigan, an MD for Northwestern, residency at Minnesota, and ID fellowship at University of Chicago.

Clinical research interests include antibiotic stewardship in hospitals and long-term care facilities.
