Happy Holidays! We know that many of you are experiencing difficulties renewing your SHEA membership online. We apologize for the inconvenience caused by the new database. We are manually working to address ALL issues as they come in and we appreciate your patience on this matter.

As you may or may not know, we share a database with IDSA, HIVMA and PIDS and have jointly hired a consultant to address the technical issues that have accompanied the database transition. If possible, please only pay your SHEA membership (it’s actually called a subscription online) from the SHEA Website in order to assure that it is processed correctly. While there is the option to renew multiple memberships, this triggers some errors that we hope to avoid to make your membership renewal run smoother. You can identify your SHEA renewal by the SHEA banner in gray at the bottom of the renewal page and clicking in the green “ACTIVE” area to bring up the renewal button. From the next screen hit next, view shopping cart, and then check out.

We realize this is complicated, so if please feel free to use a method that is easier for you either faxing your membership renewal or mailing a check to the SHEA offices. We appreciate your diligence in renewing and know that we are working just as diligently on the back end to address these issues to make it more user friendly and less complicated.
