Important Highlights
CDC Testing Guidance Revised as of September 18, 2020
In a teleconference with society stakeholder representatives held September 18, CDC representatives informed attendees that the guidance document, Overview of Testing for SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19), has been updated to clarify that asymptomatic persons, including close contacts of a person with documented SARS-CoV-2 infection, should be tested. This update reverses a recommendation included in a previous version of this document
